Today, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Mike Turner (OH-10) issued the following statement on the three-year anniversary of the Kabul terrorist attack that killed 13 U.S. service members:

“Three years ago, 13 brave American service members tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan.

“The Biden Administration has failed to address the catastrophic withdrawal and provide these families with answers. However, the Congressionally-mandated Afghan War Commission is undergoing a full look at the Afghan War and the consequences of the Biden Administration’s disastrous decision-making surrounding the withdrawal of U.S. forces in 2021. I look forward to the Commission’s findings.”
