Turner Statement on the Three-Year Anniversary of Final American Forces Leaving Afghanistan

Today, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (OH-10) issued the following statement about the three-year anniversary of the final American forces withdrawing from Afghanistan:

“Today marks the three-year anniversary of the last American forces leaving Afghanistan. The Biden Administration’s disastrous withdrawal has put the Taliban in control of the country, and the region has now become a safe haven for terrorists.”
