WASHINGTON D.C.–Today, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (AR-01) announced a hearing for Wednesday, March 26 to examine the annual assessment of worldwide threats to the national security of the United States.
“The United States and our allies are facing an unprecedented myriad of threats from highly sophisticated adversaries seeking to weaken our alliances, undermine our way of life, and deteriorate our readiness,” said Chairman Crawford. “From the growing influence and investment by the CCP in the Western Hemisphere to Iran’s role as the largest state sponsor of terror and Russia’s aggression and irregular activities, today’s threat landscape requires persistent preparedness. An inability to connect the dots to ensure a robust national security posture is unacceptable. I look forward to hearing how this new cadre of IC leadership will address these threats head on.”
