Crawford on Bipartisan House Member Classified Briefing on U.S. Strikes
Washington,
June 27, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C.— House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (AR-01) released the following statement on the classified briefing for the House of Representatives on the U.S. strikes against Iran’s three nuclear facilities. “I would like to thank Secretary Rubio, Secretary Hegseth, General Caine, and Director Ratcliffe for the substantive, clear, and informative classified briefing for the Members today. Walking out of the brief one thing is clear—President Trump’s decisive action established deterrence, projecting peace through strength. This is evidenced by the silence and decision to sit this one out by Iranian allies, including China and Russia, and their proxies. It is now time for the Iranians to come to the table and directly engage with the United States to pave a path toward peace in the Middle East. This is the first time in a long time the U.S. set a red line and refused to move it, resulting in unprecedented strides in the region thanks to President Trump’s leadership and Israel's actions.” ### |
