Media Advisory House Intelligence Committee to Hold Open Hearing on National Security Threats Posed by Chairman Mike Rogers and Ranking Member C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger today announced the witnesses for the upcoming House Intelligence Committee open hearing on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Charles Ding, Corporate Senior Vice President, Huawei; and Zhu Jinyun, Senior Vice President for North America and Europe, ZTE. The hearing is part of an ongoing investigation into the national security threats posed by Chinese telecommunications companies working in the United States, Huawei and ZTE. The hearing will begin at 10:00am in the U.S. Capitol, room HVC-210. The hearing is open to the public. Full Committee Hearing – Open to the Public Date: September 13, 2012 (Thursday) Live Coverage The hearing will be webcast live at republicans-intelligence.house.gov The hearing will also be broadcast on the House of Representatives’ In House Cable System on Channel 28. Media Set-Up Press set up will be from 6:30am – 8:30am. All media equipment must be in position in the hearing room before the security sweep begins at 8:30am. No media equipment will be allowed in the room after the security sweep. The room will reopen after the security sweep for the public and the media to take their seats. Only Congressionally credentialed members of the media will be allowed access to the press viewing area in the committee hearing room.
