HPSCI Chairman Mike Rogers today announced the House Intelligence Committee will call former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell to testify again before the Committee about the terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, this time in open session. Morell has twice testified before the Committee on this topic in closed sessions. The Committee seeks to gain additional information from Mr. Morell about his role in the development of the Benghazi talking points and in shaping the Administration’s public narrative of the terrorist attack. Date: April 2, 2014 (Wednesday) Topic: The Benghazi Talking Points and Michael Morell’s Role in Shaping the Administration’s Narrative Time: 10:00am – 1:00am ET Location: HVC-210 Witness: Michael Morell, Former Deputy Director of the CIA Media Logistics Live Coverage The hearing will be webcast live at intelligence.house.gov Media Set-Up Press set up will be from 7:00am – 9:00am. All media equipment must be in position in the hearing room before the security sweep begins at 9:00am. No media equipment will be allowed in the room after the security sweep. The room will reopen after the security sweep for the public and the media to take their seats. Only Congressionally credentialed members of the media will be allowed access to the press viewing area in the committee hearing room.
