House Intelligence Committee to Examine Threats Posed by ISIL, al Qaeda, and Other Islamic Extremists Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) and Ranking Minority Member C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) today announced the House Intelligence Committee will hold a open hearing to publicly examine the threats posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), al Qaeda (AQ), and other Islamic extremists. The open hearing will be held at 8:00 am on Thursday, September 18, 2014, in room HVC-210 of the Capitol Building.
