WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes issued the following statement today on the terrorist attack in Nice, France:

“The horrific massacre in Nice is yet another attack not only on the people of France, but on the entire free world. Modern civilization is under siege by savage terrorists who seek to impose their ruthless, barbaric vision on every man, woman, and child. These despicable murderers cannot be reasoned with or accommodated, and they cannot be defeated through half measures – they must be hunted down wherever they lurk and be captured or annihilated.”
