WASHINGTON, D.C.— Yesterday, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (AR-01) sent a letter to Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer requesting her attention to help remedy alleged delinquent payments for assisted care costs owed to AHI victim, Mike Beck by the Department of Labor. “The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (the “Committee”) is conducting a congressional investigation into Anomalous Health Incidents (AHI) and has found that victims of AHI attacks were mistreated by the Intelligence Community and other U.S. Government agencies during the Biden Administration,” writes Chairman Crawford. Chairman Crawford continued, “Today, Catherine Herridge Reports released a video, ‘Directed Energy Weapons: Credible, Crippling, & Complex’ where she interviewed AHI victim Mike Beck and alleged that the Department of Labor is three months delinquent in its commitment to cover Mike Beck’s required assisted living costs. Our government must do better for those suffering due to their heroic service.” As part of his over two-year investigation into the IC’s mishandling of AHI victims’ cases, Chairman Crawford has been working with Mike Beck to advocate for his care and support. Chairman Crawford had uncovered the significant obstruction Mr. Beck has experienced at the hand of the federal government, including the government’s delinquency in its commitment to cover Mr. Beck’s care costs. Chairman Crawford continues to directly address this specific issue with IC leadership and remains steadfast in ensuring Mike and other victims receive the treatment they deserve.
