House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, and Ranking Member Dutch Ruppersberger introduced a bipartisan bill to help American businesses be better able to protect their computer networks and intellectual property from cyber attacks. The “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011”, H.R. 3523, passed the House Intelligence Committee markup yesterday with a decisive vote of 17-1. The bill is not only receiving strong bipartisan support in the House of Representatives, it is also receiving strong support from major US corporations and business associations.
