House Intelligence Committee to Hold Open Hearing on Growing Risks of Nation-State Conflicts
Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) and Ranking Minority Member C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) today announced the House Intelligence Committee will hold an open hearing to review the current threat posed to the United States and its interests by possible nation-state military conflicts.
The open hearing will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, November 13, 2014 in room HVC-210 of the U.S. Capitol Building.

The hearing witnesses include:
- General James E. Cartwright, USMC (Ret.), Former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
- Walter Russell Mead, Professor, Yale University
- Kathleen Hicks, Center for Strategic and International Studies
Media wishing to attend Tuesday’s hearing must be credentialed through the House Radio & TV Gallery. Press set up will begin at 7:00 am. All media must be in place before the security sweep begins at 8:30am.
