Tonight, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (OH-10) released the following statement on the passing of former U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CT):

“Today, we mourn the loss of former Senator Joe Lieberman.

“He will be remembered for his commitment to bipartisanship and national security.

“He was a friend, and even in retirement, he continued to seek meaningful dialogue. I enjoyed our conversations at the Munich Security Conference.”
